This was the 1st day of a 10 day trip to Italy. We started in Rome (4 days) then traveled to Florence (3 days), Venice (3 days) and, finally, Milan (1 day). We flew overnight from JFK and arrived in Rome early in the morning. After checking in to our hotel we then went exploring. We did a lot of walking and focused on seeing the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain where we, of course, threw coins into the fountain to ensure a return trip to Italy!!
