Today we toured much of Jewish Quarter and Cardo which dates back to the 2nd century AD. The Cardo served as the center of economic life with numerous shops and vendors.
Our walking tour ended at the Western Wall, a remnant of the Second Temple set beneath the site known to Jews as the Temple Mount and as al-Haram al-Sharif to Muslims.
